Thirty-five newcomers attend a welcome reception named "Finding the Lost Sheep" held by the new family fellowship of Shashan Church on October 29. Nine of them pray to accept Jesus.
The church reports that the co-workers of the fellowship sing hymns to praise God along with the newcomers. A pastor preaches a sermon called "Secrets to Blessings" and a fellowship member gives her testimony that God who gave her a reborn life changes her marriage, family, and life.
Then the newcomers introduce themselves and write down their prayer topics. Besides, they enjoy the love feast with the co-workers.
Growing from a small home gathering initiated in 2001, Shashan Church has two pastors, fourteen preachers and 500 volunteers, according to its official website. The large church who serves around 3000 members has an area of more than 1200 m2. It has seven campuses located in Shenyang, including the first church for the blind in China and another one in Shandong. It also owns a piano training center.
