On Nov 1, 2016, more than 100 deacons and pastoral co-workers from all the 22 churches of Urumqi, Xinjiang, attend the 2016 reading report meeting held by the city's CCC in Mingde Church.
The local CCC reports that the organization starts a program that leads all the servants of God in the capital of Xinjiang to read a book each year, according to its ministry plan in the recent years. This year it goes to Pastoring Without Tears written by Sunday Adelaja.
Fifteen local co-workers and deacons address their reports from different views of point. Rev. Fan Chenguang, chairman of the CCC, claims in the summary that church development today requires good books reading that also belongs a part of self-nurturing. It will be a nice experience if you focus on reading an excellent book. The program will continue next year.
