Shahe Christian Church Offers Free Medical Clinic to Community

The Shahe Christian Church of Beijing Nankou Church provided a free medical clinic on Oct 30, 2016, after the Sunday Service, measuring the blood pressure and blood glucose for Christians and non-Christians and providing them with free medical consultation services.

According to the WeChat news of Shahe Church, the main contents of the volunteer medical consultation included measuring the blood pressure and blood sugar, giving suggestions about the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and other common diseases suffered by middle-aged and the aged in autumn and winter. The consultation lasted an hour and a half.

The church claimed that when summarizing the activity that the consultation had provided convenience for the believers, spread the medical knowledge and demonstrated the social ideas of benevolence, dedication, charity and service, which are upheld by the church, and embodied the church’s vision of "evangelizing widely and reviving the Lord's work."
