On Dec 3, 2016, Maqiao Church, the newest church in Xianning, Hubei, was dedicated. About 500 local officials, pastoral staff and believers, including Rev. Gong Gangchun, chairman of Xianning CCC & TSPM, witnessed this moment.
Rev. Xiao Anping, associate president of Zhong Nan Theological Seminary, encouraged the congregation to witness God with love in the sermon.
Founded in 1991 and located in Xian'an District, the church has developed three campuses in other places. Led by Preacher Wang Haiyan and Yi Xiulan, who are in charge of the church, the new church construction was kicked off in 2015 and completed on the dedication day. It has a Sunday attendance of more than 100, holding a meeting on Wednesday and a prayer meeting on Friday.
