On Nov 22, Enguang Church in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, hosted the 2017 deacon anointing and covenant ceremony. In total 390 individuals committed to serve as deacons.
According to the WeChat of Qiqihar Enguang Church, the deacons anointing and covenant ceremony was officially held at the third service on Dec. 4th. All of the deacons made their covenants in front of God, pastors, and believers.
The covenant vows of the deacons anointed by Enguang Church were as follows:
1, I will remember the Sabbath, and participate in all services earnestly.
2, I will practice a devoted life (including Sundays, Tithes, and Grace), and a life of evangelism according to the teachings of the Bible.
3, I will participate in fellowships and group activities.
4, I will pray for the year's goals of the church, and do my best to accomplish those goals.
5, I will practice a life of fellowship of working staff, serving stewardship, and pastoral plans in this year.
6, In addition to these, I will also set an example in church and society, and do my best.
7, I will attend the Bible classes for working staff religiously
Pastors and congregants, please be a witness to this commitment for 2017.
According to the WeChat of Enguang Church, the year 2017 will be the last year of Enguang Church's 10-year plan. The 10-year plan was to encourage believers to receive education and training. 1,000 people received the training and participated in the service. In 2017 the church's slogan is "Enguang with a Promise, Accomplish Dreams in 2017."
