During Christmas in 2016, many churches in Fujian held campaigns hoping to show the love of Jesus Christ to more people on this special holiday.
According to the article on the website of the CCC&TSPM of Fujian Province, on Dec 22, Jinjiang Anhai Christian Church sent people to the village to care for the struggling believers. The deacons of the church went in three groups to the homes of more than 30 brothers and sisters who suffered from spiritual and physical weakness. They sent Christmas greetings and encouragement. Each person or household also received Christmas a loving gift of 500 yuan.
On the same day, the deacons and fellow workers of Dabang Church in Xiuyu District, Putian City, went to three primary schools within the church's jurisdiction to do student-aiding activities. They donated over one thousand sets of books worth more than 20,000 Yuan.
On Dec 24, Xiamen Zhushu Christian Church co-hosted the "2016 Christmas Community Aiding Activities of Xiamen Zhushu Christian Church" with two local community offices. They distributed grain oil, and non-staple food worth 300 yuan to 62 recipients in the community and church. Chen Meiman, senior pastor of Zhushu Church, also expressed the wish of the church to the residents there. She gave deep blessings for Christmas and New Year, so that they would personally experience the love from God.
It was learned that the Community Aiding Activities of Zhushu Church has lasted 13 years. The activities are held twice a year during Easter and Christmas to show the responsibility of the church for the establishment of a harmonious society.
