On Jan 17, 2017, Chendai Church in Jinjiang City, Fujian Province went to a Hui village in Huatingkou to carry out community service. They took money and goods to local low-income families and impoverished college students.

According to Fujian CCC&TSPM, the community service was carried out in the village committee of Huatingkou Village. The church gave 10kg rice and 5kg oil to each of 17 low-income families. They also gave 1,000 yuan to each of 7 impoverished college students.

Chendai Church has a history of over a century. Early in 1895, Quannan Church in Quanzhou had a preaching team to preach in Chendai, and they set up fellowship meetings in 1897. In 1925, they built the first church. It has become the norm for Chendai Church to carry out community service every year.
