On March 8, 2017, the third exchange between presidents of church elderly homes held by the CCC & TSPM was opened in Hangzhou Christian Nursing Home. The exchange lasted for 5 days with the presidents and leaders of the church nursing homes around Hangzhou in attendance.

Cameron A. Nicolle and Anita Bergen, two Canadian experts on senior care, were invited to give speeches and guidance on content such as nursing planning, completion and records, hospice care intervention and planning and how to lead a colorful spiritual life for people with dementia and seniors with disabilities.

It is said that seeing the need of the aging society, the church in Hangzhou started to build a home for the aged in Jianqiao Church over two decades ago. The construction covering 5  mu or 0.823 acre began in 2003. In March 2009, the second phase of the home project was launched and the newly built building covers an area of 12 mu or 1.977 acres with a construction area of 3500 m2 or 0.864 acre.

Later on, the Hangzhou Christian Council Agape Hospital was established to provide medical care to the elderly. In addition, the nursing home also focuses on hospice care and ultimate concern, offering a hospice care room and a cemetery for its residents.

After the activity concluded on March 12, the exchange meetings will continue in Wenzhou, Taizhou, Ningbo and Shaoxing in succession, according to Hangzhou CCC & TSPM.
