On March 26, 2017, 45 seekers are baptized in the Beijing Chaoyang Church. The new members will attend a follow-up weekly class that will last for three months.
The church will hold two other baptism services at the end of July and November of this year. The applicants are required to join a three-month course for catechumens and talk with the pastoral staff.
Beijing Chaoyang Church was established on September 12, 2005 and the dedication ceremony was held on December 16 in the same year. Until now, the number of people who attend Sunday services has increased from more than 600 in the beginning to over 4,000.
