Prior to the celebrations on April 16, 2017 for Easter Sunday, the Gospel Church of Xinzhai Village, Mojiang County, Pu'er City, Yunnan, held its completion ceremony.
Pastor Bai from Mojiang County said that the previous church building was located on a hillside, a geologic slide area. It was ordered to be relocated by the local government; however, the relocation site remained unknown for the next nine years.
Because of this problem, the church staff and believers prayed for the future relocation of the church for a whole year. A few months later, three Christian families dedicated their farmlands to be the church's new land.
Meanwhile, the construction met difficulties in carrying out relative formalities and fundraising, "but God solved all the problems through various ways", says Pastor Bai.
