On August 14, 2017, the members of the Ji'nan CCC&TSPM of Shandong Province came to a local social service center in Lixia District. 10,000 yuan from the umbrella organizations for Protestant churches in the city was donated to support a home safety project for the elderly.
The project initiated by the center will serve fifty households with elders above 60 in the Dianliu Community of Jinan. It aims at reducing the chance of falls among seniors and the possibility of fire, increasing the community seniors and residents' knowledge about home safety, and raising their consciousness about managing the risk of falls and fire. The home safety factor for seniors will also be enhanced.
