On Wednesday, family, friends and colleagues of the late evangelist Billy Graham paid tribute to him on the day that should have been his 100th birthday.
The renowned evangelist was born on November 7, 1918 in Charlotte, North Carolina and spent decades in preaching the Gospel worldwide.
During his lifetime, Graham would become the 'pastor to the presidents' because he befriended many US Presidents, starting with Harry Truman who became president from 1945 to 1953.
Graham passed away early this year on February 21, 2018.
Leading the tributes was his son Franklin Graham, who now heads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and its sister, Samaritan's Purse.
In his tweet, he wrote, "One hundred years ago, @BillyGraham was born - November 7, 1918. Today, we celebrate his full life as a servant of Jesus Christ and his first birthday celebration in heaven."
The 100th birthday of the pastor coincides with the release of a biographical film, "Billy Graham: An Extraordinary Journey".
