Xishan Gospel Church in Dalian held its annual praise service on Sunday, June 9, 2019, Pentecost, which commemorates the fiftieth day after Jesus' resurrection.
Before seven o 'clock in the morning, members from the XiShan Church came to the sanctuary from all directions and filled the main hall on the first floor.
At 8am, Rev. Li Shenshen of the church started the meeting and the choir sang the hymns. Rev. Li and other Christians read some lines from the Bible and prayed. Zheng Qinzi, the pastor of the Xishan Church spoke inthe sermon on the role and significance of the Holy Spirit before the choir sang the eulogy, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Zheng led the choir and the congregation to sing hymns, including the hymn "Holy Spirit Descend" and others to desire the Holy Spirit's coming.
Having been filled, led and guided by the Holy Spirit, the Pentecost service of worship and praise came to a conclusion.
