On August 24, 2019, two church workers were ordained pastors in Shandong Theological Seminary.
According to Shandong Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM), Wang Wei and Du Nana received the ordination, with stoles (vestments) and Bibles as gifts.
During the ordination ceremony, a pastor exhorted the two to minister according to Jesus's teachings and biblical principles, to love the Lord faithfully, fully devote themselves and be examples to the flock. Rev. Gao Ming, chairman of Shandong CC&TSPM, encouraged the new pastors to have the will to endure hardship and also hope to gain the Lord's favor.
