Changsha Chengbei Church in China's south-central Hunan Province has been engaged in Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control in different ways.
Starting on January 25, the church reported that it suspended all its religious activities. According to the church, the building has been closed while a person is on duty every day to ensure security and cleanliness.
A donation of more than 49,000 yuan was given to a local charity association and other places in need. Because a local charity desperately needed vegetables since its lockdown in February, the church sent carefully selected vegetables to it.
Meanwhile, sermons and prayers have been compiled and sorted, including sermons based on the letters of the Apostle Paul, the law, and the almighty Father.
In addition, the church publishes articles on coping with the anxiety and negative emotions of believers, information on the virus, and a biblical perspective on how individuals can take precautions during this time.
Some members volunteer in their communities, measuring the temperature of people coming in and out and publicizing pandemic prevention knowledge.
