The Jiangxi Christian Council held an ordination ceremony at the Ji'an Gospel Church in Jiangxi Province on Sunday, December 27.
Nine staff workers from eight churches across the province were ordained as pastors and associate pastors in the ceremony, attended by nearly 400 believers.
The meeting was presided over by Rev. Yao Baoshan, president of the Jiangxi CC&TSPM (Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement). Rev. Li Yungen, chairman of the Jiangxi CC&TSPM, gave a sermon about witnessing to the true light.
Four pastoral workers were ordained as pastors, namely You Bin and Yu Wenhui from Ji’an Gospel Church, Cao Yunfang from Zhouxi Town Central Church of Duchang County, Jiujiang City, and Zhong Liangfa from Fenyi County, Xinyu City. Others were appointed as associate pastors.
At the end of the ceremony, they were presented clerical stoles, Bibles, and faculty certificates.
