Elder Qi Changyi, the former director of Shanghai Grace Church, was called by the Lord to heaven, aged 82 years old.
On February 1st, 2021, Shanghai Grace Church issued the obituary, saying that the funeral should simplify following Qi Elder who died at 6 a.m. on that day and his family members' wishes that no memorial service should be held. The family of Qi thanksed brothers and sisters' prayer and concern during his illness.
The church continued, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth."
