A Guangxi church has launched the twenty-four-hour prayer chain for three consecutive years, offering intercession for the country, the church, pastors, believers, ministries, and evangelism.
Last Saturday, Beihai Church held the Third Anniversary Prayer Conference for the 24-Hour Prayer Chain, with pastoral staff and believers sitting together to read the Bible, pray, and praise the Lord.
Leading others in reciting Acts 26: 19-20, Rev. Huang Zhengxin encouraged the attendees to pray constantly, look to the Triune God, and entrust everything to Him, as prayer was as important a part of our faith journey as breathing.
During this commemorative conference, each prayer group talked about their gains and testimonies during the prayer in 2021, counting the grace of God.
One pastor said, "The past three years are really not easy, especially for the groups that participated in the early morning. They wake up to pray in the middle of the night, which has lasted three years!"
All participants are divided into 24 groups, each of them prays in a designated one-hour slot. It was the most difficult to pray during the latter half of the night and early morning, so they adopt a variety of methods such as reminding each other online, being waken up by family members or alarm clocks to attend the continuous prayer.
Another pastor claimed, "Thank God! We should watch and pray when getting to the end, hoping to light up the world, and spread the gospel 24 hours a day."
