Sanming Municipal CC&TSPM in Fujian Province held the 20th pastoral staff retreat between November 29-30.
On November 29 in Gospel Church, Chengguan Township, Mingxi County, Cui Yi, executive deputy minister of the United Front Work Department of the Mingxi County Party Committee, delivered a speech titled "Writing the Path of Sinicization of Christianity". Combined with his own work and writing experience, he encouraged attendees to strengthen their studies, overcome psychological barriers, and enhance their confidence in writing by training and reading more, according to Fujian CC&TSPM.
The next day, four pastors gave keynote speeches on "How to Run a Church in the Current Situation", and three other pastors responded to these speeches, coupled with their own service experience.
Finally, Rev. Fang Yusong, president of Sanming CC, concluded the event by giving a lecture on "Being a Worthy Worker — A Qualified Pastor From the First and Second Books of Timothy".
Nearly 30 full-time pastors in the city and heads of sites in Mingxi County attended the retreat.
