Two churches in Hunan and Fujian issued notices that they would hold New Year's Eve services.
On its official WeChat account on December 30, Beizhengjie Church in Changsha, Hunan, announced the details of its New Year’s Eve celebration which is scheduled to be conducted on Friday, which would contain worship, preaching, New Year’s vows, and commission service. Believers are reminded to write their wishes on the New Year's greeting cards, following personal protection measures and the COVID-19 protocols when entering churches.
On the same day, Mawei Church in Fuzhou, Fujian, said it would host a Christmas Eve music worship service on December 31, in which praise, recitals, and dances would be performed by choirs and fellowships.
