Shandong CC&TSPM hosted ordinations in two churches.
Between January 15-16, nine pastors and nine elders were ordained in Fumen Church in Weihai City and Holy Grace Church in Dongying City, Shandong CC&TSPM said.
Based on Numbers 14:20-25, Rev. Wang Mengkun, general-secretary of Shandong CC&TSPM, gave a sermon titled "Set Your Mind and Follow the Lord", exhorting the soon-to-be ordained clergy to serve God faithfully and bear good witness for Him. In addition to flowers from pastoral co-workers, these newly-ordained persons received bibles and clerical stoles from the pastorate.
The ordinations helped reduce the problem that "the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few" in Shandong churches, contributing to the development of Christianity in the province.
