To improve staff skills in disaster reduction, disaster avoidance and self rescue, a church in Jiangsu held a seminar on May 12th, National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day.
The staff of Suzhou Xiangcheng Church conducted a popular science study on the emergency knowledge of disaster prevention and reduction, such as epidemics, fires, chemical prevention, tornadoes, lightning strikes, typhoons, floods and earthquakes, according to Suzhou CC/TSPM,
May 12th in this year marks China's 14th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day and May 7th to 13th is its publicity week, with the theme of Disaster Risks Reduction for A Better Homeland.
