A symposium was hosted for the students from Nanjing Union Theological Seminary and Guangdong Union Theological Seminary who spent a summer internship in Guangzhou.
Ten seminary students participated in the symposium on August 11, according to Guangzhou CC/TSPM.
At the symposium, introducing themselves, the seminary students exchanged ideas about their internship tasks and experiences with gratitude for the internship opportunities provided by the municipal CC. They said that the summer internship allowed them to have a deeper understanding of the daily work of the church, and to see the problems and challenges they face in practical work, which helped them to merge theory with practice. The students also expressed that they will pay more attention to the combination of learning and practice in the next stage of the study.
Rev. Guo Yun, chairman of Guangzhou TSPM, urged seminary students to find their strengths and give full play to their talents and gifts. While focusing on study and preaching, they should also strengthen their comprehensive ability to be multi-functional pastors by learning many skills.
