Worship and praise meetings were hosted in three Churches of Suzhou City, China’s eastern coastal Jiangsu Province, to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival which fell on September 10 last weekend.
Following hymns titled "Let Praise Arise" and "The Hope of Our Lives" in Xiangcheng Church on September 10, Rev. Wang Xiaoming shared a sermon with the title of "Flyback and Reunion", urging the congregation to open their hearts to the grace and enter the kingdom of the Lord. Believers received mooncakes after the service, followed by a haircut charity event conducted by the church for its members the next day, said the Suzhou CC&TSPM.
During the worship service in Shishan Church on September 11, hymns and dances were performed by the Good News Choir, Joy Dance Team, Jeduthun Choir, and Joshua Praise Group. In his sermon themed "Longing for Heaven", Rev. Liu Yingjie encouraged Christians to focus on things that were invisible to the eye and the kingdom of heaven and to transcend the joys and sorrows with a vision beyond reality.
In the form of unison, chorus, and duet last Sunday, the praise team of Xu Shu Guan Church presented many hymns including "I am Determined".
