Two churches and two meeting points in China’s southeastern coastal Guangdong Province held a joint praise meeting to raise funds to build a new church.
On September 10, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Guangzhou Guangxiao Church, Jinbuli Meeting Point, Henan Church, and Dunhe Meeting Point, hosted a joint Praise meeting at Guangxiao Church to raise funds for the construction of Panyu Church, Guangxiao Church reported.
The ceremonial laying of the cornerstone for the expansion of Panyu Church was conducted on July 30. With a construction area of 7,704 square meters (1.9 acres), the new church will include a multi-story tower, a pavilion, a colonnade, and an over-water gazebo. The total fundraising target for building the church is 60 million yuan. The project is expected to take two years.
In order to promote the integrated construction, Guangxiao Church and Henan Church promote joint ministry and mutual support through exchanges of advanced experience, together building Panyu Church in Guangzhou.
