The teacher qualification certification work conference of China's theological seminaries was held in Shanghai in order to promote the standardized running of its seminaries.
Five members of the Working Group for Teacher Qualification Certification of Chinese Christian Theological Seminaries participated in an in-person meeting on November 16, and three participated virtually, according to CCC&TSPM.
Members of the working group reviewed the materials of newly recruited teachers in 2021 and 2022 in turn according to the agenda, to give qualifications to teachers who meet the relevant requirements. In 2021, a total of 49 new teacher qualification application forms were received from Yanjing Theological Seminary, Northeast China Theological Seminary, Zhongnan Theological Seminary, Shandong Theological Seminary, Fujian Theological Seminary, Hunan Bible School, Jilin Bible School, and Inner Mongolia Bible School. Among them, 48 teachers have obtained accreditation.
A total of 11 application forms have been received from Zhejiang Theological Seminary, Henan Theological Seminary, Guizhou Bible School, Shandong Theological Seminary, Guangdong Union Theological Seminary, and Jilin Bible School in 2022, and 10 of them have obtained teacher qualifications.
The meeting also discussed and approved the renewal of certificates.
