The 30th-anniversary celebration of Jiangxi Bible School was held online.
Ma Zhehai, first-class inspector of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau of Jiangxi, spoke at the ceremony on December 26, said the bureau.
Ma mentioned that the school had trained more than 1,000 qualified talents in multiple areas, which provided a guarantee for guiding Christianity to adapt to the socialist society.
He emphasized that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the overall requirements of the religious work, including "adhering to the principle of developing religion in the Chinese context” and “guiding the adaptation of religions to socialist society". So the direction of the Party's religious work in the new era was pointed out, and the focus of the work was determined.
Ma suggested that besides adhering to the correct direction of running, the school should offer complete learning resources and brand courses to train more qualified pastoral talents.
