Four seminaries in China recently held opening ceremonies for the new semester.
Jiangxi Bible School held a worship service and opening ceremony for the 2023 spring semester on February 8, with more than 80 faculty and students attending, according to CCC&TSPM.
Guangdong Union Theological Seminary ushered in a new semester on February 13.
Rev. Pei Lianshan preached a sermon titled "Elite Troop of God," exhorting attendees to strive to equip themselves and become good soldiers of Christ.
The next day, a commencement ceremony was conducted at Hunan Bible School, which opened two new one-year classes for 63 in-service pastors. It is targeted to solve the talent shortage in grassroots churches in this province by responding to the Administrative Measures for Religious Institutions.
On February 20, Sichuan Theological Seminary also started the new semester. Students were told to work hard in school to carry on traditional culture and spread Christianity in China.
