Recently, Zion Church in southern China’s Guangdong Province announced plans to establish a Christian learning and training center called Zion Academy and will open its first training course in April.
Zion Academy in Guangzhou will provide believers with systematic education on the Bible, theology, faith, serving skills, and living needs.
The first training program offers five courses, including “The Practice of Prayer”, “How to Read the Bible”, “Better Devotion Practice”, “Imitating Christ - Introduction to the Life of Jesus" and "The Apostles' Creed".
The academy will invite well-known pastors, theological professors, and Christian professionals to help believers understand faith, take root firmly in the truth, grow their lives, and serve faithfully through a series of courses, special lectures, and skill training.
The course is scheduled on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, starting from the first week of April, with notification to be provided for any alterations to the time.
The academy welcomes all believers to apply to the program, and they will recruit 300 students in total for this time. So far, 153 believers have already signed up.
The inauguration ceremony of Zion Academy will be held in the main hall of the Zion Church on March 26.
