A church in south China's Guangdong Province held its first baptism in 2023.
Guangxiao Church in Guangzhou City said last Sunday it conducted the 65th baptism, in which 23 followers of Christ were baptized by Senior Pastor Zhang Chengtao.
It also announced that the first catechumen class in 2023 has started enrollment, and the next baptism is scheduled to take place on August 27. The opening ceremony of the class will be held on April 16, with courses to be given on Sunday mornings.
