A new church building’s inauguration ceremony was held in Fujian Province, while a Christian training center was built in Hunan Province.
Tianzhu Church in Dajia Town, Gutian County, Ningde, Fujian, held a worship service to celebrate the building completion on March 18, according to Ningde CC&TSPM.
Rev. Yang Ruilin, former chairman of Xiamen CC&TSPM and senior pastor of Xinjie Church, delivered a sermon with the title “God’s Dwelling."
With the support of Zhushu Church and other churches in Xiamen, as well as donations from believers like Li Jiuxuan, Tianzhu Church was built as a landmark Gothic church, with its foundation stone being laid on December 12, 2018. It covers a construction area of 3.6 mu (0.59 acres) and a floor area of 1,200 square meters (0.296 acres), at a cost of 1.7 million yuan.
The completion of the Christian training center was celebrated by the Nan County Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) Committee in Yiyang, Hunan, on March 16.
Staff members spent more than ten years praying for the multi-functional training center, which can be used to provide places and facilities for training in theological knowledge, canon doctrine, laws and regulations, and financial management. It is hoped that the building can be used to improve the comprehensive quality of pastors from churches in the county.
The center is named the “Nanxun Building” (which means training in Nan County), covering an area of 280 square meters (0.069 acres). There are three floors with a total of 24 rooms, including dormitories on the first floor, offices and dormitories on the second floor, and classrooms and conference rooms on the third floor. The total investment is 3.54 million yuan.
During the worship service hosted by Rev. Xiao Guochang, chairman of the Nan County TSPM, the choir of Central Church in Nan County presented hymns to the Lord for the completion of the building. Senior Pastor Wen Shuangcheng from Yuxuan Church affiliated with Hunan CC&TSPM preached a sermon with the title “Build up the Body of Christ."
