A church in China’s southeastern coastal Guangdong Province announced its arrangements for Holy Week and Easter Sunday, inviting believers to attend.
Tianhe Church in Guangzhou issued a notice on March 23, saying it will hold 11 gatherings from April 2 to April 9, including a Palm Sunday service, Holy Wednesday prayer meeting, Good Friday candlelight service, Holy Saturday praise meeting, Easter Sunday service, and an Easter carnival party.
The church has been the first church in Guangzhou established after 1949 (the founding of New China). With the ground-breaking ceremony being held on September 15, 2007, it was put into use on January 14, 2017.
