A five-day training program aimed at key teachers from various seminaries was conducted by the Central Institute of Socialism.
The opening ceremony on May 29th was addressed by Rev. Wu Wei, the President of China Christian Council (CCC), who emphasized that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China had provided a clear direction for the development of the country, according to CCC&TSPM. He further added that the teachers from seminaries play a crucial role in nurturing future talents for churches, and should thus capitalize on this opportunity to study effectively while imparting quality education.
Rev. Wu expressed his expectation that all seminary schools would strive to comprehend and implement the concept of sinicization of Christianity, as well as reinforce their own construction by undertaking theological ideological construction along with rigorous religious management. This extensive and exhaustive training course was attended by fifty faculty members hailing from twenty-two seminaries dispersed across China.
