The Nanjing CC&TSPM in Jiangsu has reviewed and approved the "Outline of the Five-Year Work Plan for the Sinicization of Christianity in Nanjing (2023-2027)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Outline").
On July 14, Rev. Kan Renping, chairman of the Nanjing TSPM, presided over the first meeting of the Standing Committee of the current session to review the "Outline" at Holy Word Church, according to CCC&TSPM.
There are four parts to the "Outline": overview, main tasks, priorities, structure, and operations. It aims to clarify the guidelines, fundamentals, major achievements, and goals of the sinicization of Christianity in Nanjing, as well as specific initiatives and organizational safeguards regarding the relevant works. The "Performance Index of Sinicization of Christianity in Nanjing" will be an important basis for the steady promotion of the localization of Christianity in Nanjing in the next five years.
Pastoral workers who attended the meeting said that they would focus on diverse aspects such as team building, theological reconstruction, personnel development, legal construction, rooting Chinese culture in Christianity, and promoting harmonious relationships.
