CCC&TSPM convened the fifth plenary session of the Rural and Ethnic Ministry Committee in Yunnan Province.
During the meeting held from August 17 to 18 in Dali City, Rev. Yu Wenliang, the director of the committee, delivered a report to review the work of the past five years, which included building a learning-oriented team, convening work meetings, providing care during the COVID-19 pandemic, and completing research initiatives, reported CCC&TSPM. Simultaneously, he highlighted pertinent issues and challenges while offering suggestions for future endeavors.
Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairman of TSPM, commended efforts of the committee. He emphasized that moving forward, the committee should pay greater attention to the needs of rural and ethnic minority churches, such as issues related to social security, skill enhancement, and support for impoverished theological students.
During the conference, committee members also visited Dali Ancient City Church and Dali Bible School.
