Over 100 committee members and supervisors of the Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM reviewed their 2023 work in a meeting.
Held in Hangzhou from January 15 to 16, the second session of the current committee of the Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM was held, along with the 21st symposium on the construction of sinicization in theological thought, said the provincial CC&TSPM.
Chen Zhenhua, deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of Zhejiang Province, gave affirmation to the work of the Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM over the past year. Particularly noteworthy achievements include the completion of the committee's election and the establishment of the Board of Supervisors. Additionally, a total of 27 representatives from the provincial CC&TSPM participated in the 11th National Chinese Christian Congress which was held in late December. Rev. Zhang Yaofa, president of the Zhejiang Provincial Christian Council (CC), also assumed the position of vice secretary-general of the national TSPM. Rev. Pan Xingwang, chairman of the provincial TSPM, also took on the role of vice president of the China Christian Council (CCC). Furthermore, in response to the 6.2 earthquake in Jishishan County, Gansu Province, the provincial CC&TSPM organized relief efforts, raising over a million yuan.
The meeting approved the "Management Measures for Payment of Membership Fees for the Zhejiang CC&TSPM" and organized a study session on the "Implementation Measures for Regulations Governing Religious Activity Sites in Zhejiang Province (Trial)." They also recognized "Outstanding Christian Staff in Zhejiang Province for the Year 2023."
During the meeting, evaluations were conducted for the leadership team of the provincial CC&TSPM, with all committee members participating in a democratic review.
