Churches in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, concluded their volunteer services in 2023, with plans for 2024.
On January 21, Xiangcheng Church, Qingjian Lake Church, and Hushuguan Church held year-end volunteer ministry meetings, reported Suzhou Municipal CC&TSPM.
At Xiangcheng Church, Senior Pastor Rev. Kuai Mo reviewed that the church had carried out different special ministries in the past year, in addition to completing work on pastoral care, training, and logistical assistance. In 2024, the church will keep promoting practices in Suzhou on the sinicization of Christianity, featuring faith and culture.
Rev. Cao Yawen presided over the meeting at the Qingjian Lake Church, with representatives from each volunteer group reporting on their services in the past year and anticipating the coming year.
During the Hushuguan Church's conclusion meeting, Rev. Lu Fang reviewed the church ministries in 2023. Elder Liu Xing Sheng and more than 60 backbone volunteer staff shared their personal reflections, growth, and expectations for the following year.
