A church in Guangdong is recruiting volunteers for diverse positions for its new Sunday afternoon service.
Guangzhou Zion Church announced on its official WeChat account on June 6 that it plans to add a service on Sunday afternoon starting in July to meet the pastoral needs of different believers.
The service will combine traditional and modern elements to make it both “solemn and lively." This initiative aims to increase the church's impact and attract more young people. To achieve this, Zion Church has issued an invitation for volunteers to serve on Sunday afternoons. The positions currently include pianist, choir, usher, receptionist, evangelist, counselor, security guard, audio control staff, venue management, photographer, medical personnel, cleaners, and publicity staff.
