Recently, Panyu Church in Guangzhou, Guangdong started the interior decoration of the construction project that was launched in 2021.
Pastoral staff and council members of Fangcun Church and Dashi meeting point affiliated with Shiqiao Church went to the construction site of Panyu Church, offering prayers on August 24 and 25, according to Guangzhou CC&TSPM. In addition, Shiqiao Church also organized other gathering sites in Panyu District to hold a Christian conference to raise funds for its construction.
Panyu Church is a sinicized ecological church that the Guangzhou CC&TSPM plans to expand on the current site of Shiqiao Church. The new building has a floor area of 7,704 square meters (1.9 acres), with Lingnan (South China) architecture compatible with the characteristics of the times. This project was officially launched in 2021, with a total fundraising goal of 60 million RMB.
