On November 23, Ningbo CC&TSPM conducted an ordination ceremony at Ningbo Eastern New Town Church, officially ordaining 22 pastors and 11 elders, strengthening the pastoral leadership within the city’s Christian community.
According to Ningbo CC&TSPM, the newly ordained clergy first participated in a study session. During the session, Rev. Zhang Yaofa, president of Zhejiang Christian Council (CC), and Rev. Shan Weixiang, vice chairperson of CCC&TSPM, urged them to deepen their faith, uphold patriotism and devotion, and serve their congregations.
Subsequently, Rev. Chen Zhihua, vice chairperson and secretary general of Ningbo CC&TSPM, reviewed the results of the clergy qualification examination, offering an analysis aimed at enhancing the overall competence of the newly ordained.
During the ordination ceremony, Rev. Shan encouraged the new clergy to cultivate insight, execution, resilience, and emotional stability, urging them to become faithful and wise servants who contribute to God’s glory, the church’s development, and the congregation’s spiritual growth.
