According to the arrangements for Christmas events in the northern sector of Zhangpu Church, Shancheng Church hosted a Christmas event on December 7.

Shortly after Major Snow, the 21st solar term of the year, temperatures in Shancheng Village, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou, Fujian, have turned increasingly frigid. However, the chilly mountain winds could not dampen the steps of believers participating in the Christmas activities.

Minister Huang Lanlan led believers in offering prayers of gratitude to the Heavenly Father for His love and the birth of Christ. Prayers were also made for peace in China and the world, the prosperity of Shancheng Church, and countless individuals in need of blessings and care.

Then, Chen Hongjuan, president of the Zhangpu County Christian Council, read Luke 2:8–14. The Rev. Wu Weiyao of Jiaomei Church in Longhai County delivered a sermon titled “Good Tidings of Great Joy”.

In the Christmas Praise Gathering, following the worship service, believers from diverse churches performed over a dozen self-directed and self-produced programs, including solos, choral praise, and dances.
