Last Saturday, the Gospel Church in Xinan Township, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, hosted a dedication ceremony.
On February 1, the fourth day of the first lunar month, church co-workers offered prayers with gratitude for God's grace, dedicating the holy temple to worship, the dissemination of the gospel, soul salvation, and community service.
During the celebration service, the church conducted the Liturgy of the Word. Rev. Chen Meiman, vice chairperson of Xiamen Municipal TSPM and former chairperson of Fujian Provincial TSPM, quoted 1 Kings 8:10-24 and delivered a sermon on the temple's fulfillment of God's promise and its purpose, featuring the temple as God's eternal dwelling, a symbol of unity, a place where all nations pray, and a vessel filled with God's glory.
Following the sermon, the Xiapu County CC&TSPM joint choir performed hymns of praise.
That evening, the new building's lighting harmonized with the celebratory fireworks.
