Last Thursday, CCC&TSPM announced job openings for an overseas relations officer and a theological education officer.
According to the recruitment announcement released on February 6, the Overseas Relations Officer will be responsible for analyzing the development trends of Christianity overseas and in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The role also includes handling the reception and interpretation for visiting foreign delegations, as well as translating, compiling, analyzing, and researching relevant documents.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree or higher with a certification of the Test for English Majors Grade Eight (TEM8), demonstrate proficiency in oral and written translation, and possess a basic understanding of Christian doctrine.
The theological education officer will be responsible for advancing theological education, fostering the construction of theological thought, and promoting the sinicization of Christianity in China. The role includes “standardizing theological schools, overseeing the qualification certification of seminary faculty, evaluating faculty’s professional titles, and granting academic titles to eligible institutions.” Additionally, the officer will organize overseas study programs and short-term training abroad.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree or higher and have passed the College English Test Band Six (CET-6). They should possess strong Chinese and English writing skills, a moderate level of English-speaking ability, and a certain understanding of Christian doctrines.
The employment will be through third-party human resources outsourcing, with equal pay for equal work. The daily work location will be in Huangpu District, Shanghai.
