From March 24 to 25, the Theological Thought Construction Preaching Team Training for the Chinese Christian community was held in Shanghai. More than 160 members of the preaching team from across the country, along with representatives from CC&TSPM in various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, participated in the event.

According to CCC&TSPM, during the opening ceremony on March 24, Rev. Wu Wei, president of CCC, emphasized that the construction of theological thought is both a key task and a significant challenge in systematically promoting the sinicization of Christianity. He stressed the importance of integrating theoretical discussions with practical exploration, as well as educating and guiding believers through scripture interpretation, preaching, and other means.

On the afternoon of March 24, officials from the Comprehensive Research Department of the Religious Research Center under the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee delivered a lecture on strengthening legal governance in religious affairs.

On March 25, Rev. Lin Manhong, vice president and secretary-general of CCC, summarized the 2024 preaching team training and preaching exchange activities in the Northwest region. Using charts and statistical data, she detailed the participation of preaching team members in different regions and outlined four key plans for the work in 2025.

During the two-day training, participants were divided into four groups for discussions, focusing on the vital role of the preaching team in promoting the sinicization of Christianity and ensuring the strict governance of Christianity in China.

At the closing ceremony, Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairperson of the national TSPM, presented four expectations and directives to attendees. They were required to "govern the church by laws and regulations, enhance internal supervision and management, and ensure the church's healthy development," "continually improve their preaching skills," and "focus on the theme 'The Word Becoming Flesh to Glorify God and Benefit People.'"
