Nanjing Union Theological Seminary (NJUTS) has announced the recruitment of applicants for the 2025 Doctor of Ministry program.

The three-year program, specializing in pastoral care and pastoral psychological counseling, awards a Doctor of Ministry degree.

According to the announcement, the program aims to cultivate advanced professionals who align with the sinicization of Christianity, contribute to the development of theological thought construction, engage in church ministry, and pursue theological research, with the capabilities for independent academic research.

Applicants must hold a master's degree from a theological program recognized by NJUTS or a master's degree from an overseas institution recommended by CCC&TSPM. Additionally, candidates should have at least three years of experience working in a Chinese church or seminary and be experienced in pastoral ministry. Furthermore, applicants must have published a minimum of two academic papers in recognized journals and demonstrate the ability to read original English theological pieces.

The registration period is from April 2 to June 15, 2025. Applicants shall submit an application form approved by the provincial CC&TSPM, their master's thesis, academic articles, experts' recommendation letters, and a personal research plan. The entrance examination includes both a written examination (covering politics, English, general Christian knowledge, and knowledge of major courses) and an oral interview. The exam schedule will be provided separately. Admission will be based on a comprehensive evaluation and selection process.

Students or their recommending units should be responsible for the tuition and living expenses, while the seminary will offer scholarships. Graduates are required to secure employment independently.
