Pingnan County's CC&TSPM held its 14th "Pastor Appreciation Day" Symposium on April 6 at Chengdong Church in Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, bringing together 26 pastoral workers from the region.
During the meeting, President Wei Zhongxin of Pingnan County's Christian Council highlighted that the county's CC&TSPM has hosted 14 such events since the first session was revived in 2012, said the Ningde Municipal CC&TSPM. The symposium aims to encourage grassroots pastors to remain steadfast in their ministry despite limited resources and real-world challenges, while also fostering unity and resilience among pastors in the face of adversity.
Rev. Lin Xinning, president of the Christian Council of Mawei District in Fuzhou and director of Kuai'an Church, delivered an encouraging message to the pastors, focusing on the theme "Learning from the Lord's Way and Following His Example" based on his own pastoral experience.
Rev. Xiang Zhirong, chairperson of the county's TSPM, described Pastor Appreciation Day as "a spiritual charging station."
