CCC&TSPM Media Ministry Committee Convenes in Wuhan

The second plenary meeting of the current Media Ministry Committee of CCC&TSPM convened in Wuhan, Hubei Province, on April 17.

During the meeting, Rev. Hao Zhiqiang, deputy secretary general of the national TSPM and the editor-in-chief of CCC&TSPM's flagship magazine, Tianfeng (Heavenly Wind), presented an overview of the operational status of Tianfeng, including the associated website and its Wechat official account. Additionally, Chen Hongli, an staff member of the media ministry, provided insights into the text publication initiatives of CCC&TSPM. Furthermore, Rev. Zhu Zhiguo, chairperson of Hubei Provincial TSPM and president of Zhongnan Theological Seminary, briefed on the media ministry within Hubei Province, discussing its mission, unique characteristics, achievements, potential outlook, and existing challenges, while exploring a theological path featuring Chu Culture and narrating the story of Christianity in Hubei Province.

The meeting culminated in the approval of the summary report on the media ministry efforts in 2024, as well as the work tasks for 2025. The present CCC&TSPM leaders acknowledged the committee's efforts over the past year. The attending committee members engaged in exchanges regarding the media ministry's initiatives carried out by various regions' CC&TSPMs.

Subsequently, participants extended a visit to patriotic education sites, including the Yellow Crane Tower and the 1911 Revolution Museum. They conducted field research on different venues, including the Patriotic Education Exhibition Corridor and the workshop for Sinicization of Christianity in the Zhongnan Theological Seminary, the Sinicization of Christianity Exhibition Wall and Micro-Exhibition Hall at the local Rongguang Church.
