On May 24, the Julong Town Church in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, held a worship and praise meeting to celebrate the first anniversary of its Couples Fellowship.
The Couples' Fellowship, was established on May 25, 2024, to enhance the happiness of believers' families and to help couples become spiritual leaders within their homes.
Mr. Zhang Wenbin, deputy director of Julong Town Church, delivered a message centered on the theme of "Marriage and Covenants." Drawing from Ephesians 5:31-32 and Hebrews 13:4, he encouraged couples to honor and respect one another. Zhang emphasized that, regardless of individual circumstances or marital status, it is important to keep in mind the true essence of marriage. At its core, marriage is all about the connection and commitment between two souls. It is a journey where both partners support each other and grow together. He shared his hope that every couple discovers happiness and fulfillment in marriage. He also prayed that the majestic name of God be glorified in all the earth, with His glory shining brightly in the heavens above.
Following Zhang's message, Rev. Chen Meiman led a prayer to bless the celebration.
As the event drew to a close, the congregation joined together in reciting the Lord's Prayer. The anniversary celebration concluded with a blessing from Rev. Lin Liangguang.
The Julong Town Church was designed by a German architect with glass as its walls. It is a modern-style artistic building with a spiritual, slender, towering, and sharp 'Noah's Ark' style. More than 700 people can fit inside the main hall, which takes its inspiration from the "Sermon on the Mount" and has a transparent glass curtain wall.
