On October 18, the youth fellowship of Huxi Church in Shanghai held a revival meeting themed "God Is the One I Depend On," bringing together young Christian brothers.

According to the hosting church, Rev. Cen Zhongpu, the church leader, delivered a sermon titled "Depending on God," drawing from Psalm 118:8–9 and Matthew 6:31–34. He encouraged participants not to worry but to trust and rely on God in every circumstance. Following the message, Brother Wang Mingjie shared his personal testimony about faith, patience, and dependence on God.

In the afternoon, the participants divided into groups to complete a Bible-themed jigsaw puzzle, working together and deepening their familiarity with Scripture through the activity.

After a time of collective worship, Rev. Xu Zhe shared a message titled "Rise up, Brothers!" urging the attendees to stand firm and take responsibility within their families and church ministries.

The meeting concluded with group sharing, as participants exchanged their faith experiences and challenges, offering encouragement and mutual support.

The Huxi Church was built in 1919 and was originally located in Xinjing District. It was initially a missionary school established by two Swedish female missionaries, Christensen and K. Anderson, to which Soong Ching Ling's mother, Ni Guizhen, also contributed. The church (current site) was built in 1940 and became the joint worship venue of Changning District in 1958. The church was reopened in December 1982, and its building was completed in December 1989, with its exterior walls decorated with brown bricks.
