On October 26, Zhushikou Church in Beijing held the concluding gathering for the fellowship event, "Time Imprints, Gratitude for the Journey," with more than 60 believers returning to the church to celebrate God's grace and the bonds of fellowship.

According to the hosting church, Rev. Song Quanyong opened his sermon with Psalm 133, encouraging believers to love one another, live in unity, and put God's love into practice in their daily lives. During the event, several participants shared testimonies of faith, some speaking of healing from illness, others finding peace in families and work, and others testifying that their lives have been renewed in the Lord.

The fellowship series, launched in April 2025, invited believers baptized at Zhushikou Church between 1989 and 1993 to return and reflect on their 36-year faith journey. The senior pastor noted that since 1989, more than 4,000 people have been baptized and come to Christ at Zhushikou Church, many of whom continue to serve faithfully in different ministries.

The gathering featured a themed cake and commemorative cups engraved with the church's logo as tokens of gratitude and blessing. At the inaugural event on April 27, Senior Pastor Rev. Li Yonghong encouraged believers with verses from Romans 12 and Ephesians 4, reminding them that the church, as the body of Christ, should be united in love, mutual support, and shared growth.

Over the decades, those who were once young now have silvered hair, yet their faith remains steadfast. Many continue to serve the church through pastoral work, evangelism, choir ministry, reception, and administration, forming a firm foundation for the continuation of faith at Zhushikou Church.

Founded by the Methodist Episcopal Church, the Zhushikou Church's original construction kicked off in 1904 and was completed in 1923 with a simple Gothic-style appearance.

In 1958, Protestant churches of different denominations in Beijing were required to hold joint services. During this time, all denominations in South Beijing were merged with Zhushikou Church, which served as one of only four preserved churches out of over 60. However, when the Cultural Revolution commenced in 1966, gatherings at Zhushikou Church were forcibly halted, only resuming after 1980.
